Rethinking Spirituality, Identity, and the Human Experience

We talk about something called spirituality only because we believe in something called materiality.

Our planet has a difficult time with what is more true—for example, regarding the nature of our world, and more importantly, the nature of ourselves. The truth of who we are is vast and deep and defines all fields of knowledge. Yet, our educational system teaches a very narrow representation of a human being.

We create a separate physical world in our minds, and so, we cannot help but create a spiritual world to counter and supersede it. But the world is what it is, not necessarily what we think and what we teach. This is not necessarily about truth itself, but about finding out what is more true.

Once identity and mind are partitioned, finding out what is more true becomes a way forward. The mind wants to stick to its either/or for safety. It's either true or it's not. Or, equally easy—both are true, or both are not true.

But how they are true, what is more true, and where this is leading?

These are the questions I'm asking of myself and exploring.

Healing is possible.
