Isn't there a path of evolution that we all are on, whether we acknowledge it or not?

Q. Isn't there a path of evolution that we all are on, whether we acknowledge it or not?... I know, you will tell me we ARE the divine source as the third mind so there is nowhere to go. Yet, after we meditate and connect with the third mind, we indeed return to a first mind perspective as people with issues to work through. It seems that these issues give us the opportunity to evolve over many lifetimes. Please clarify.

A. Yes, from the first mind perspective we are of course evolving. The body is obviously changing, the mind is changing, we are learning - all of this is of course happening. And also there is the subtler nature of what we are. I wouldn't say "there is nowhere to go" as an absolute. It's a relative statement in context. As the first mind perspective of course we are "going" - just as I am typing. There is no contradiction with these perspectives. Both reflect each other, and both can be ridden like a wave, making use of whichever perspective is helpful now.
