Kundalini and anatomy

Writer's picture: Anoop Kumar, MDAnoop Kumar, MD

Notice the similarity among the pictures? Central spinal cord with peripheral nerves. Central nutrition with branches. Central energy with peripheral streams.

Nature is intelligence and power. Maximum beauty and efficiency.

Tapping into our central stream is healing and is in all indigenous traditions. Today, it often goes by the name of Kundalini, which streams up the canalis centralis of the spinal cord. The ida and pingala represent the parasympathetic and sympathetic streams.

At the top of the caduceus, which mirrors spinal anatomy, are the wings by which we take flight through the pineal gland and beyond the head to realms galore, revealing the essential ingredient of the cosmos.

Anatomy, when seen completely, is everything and everyone, microcosm to macrocosm.
