Ancient Wisdom & Modern Health 10

Kenopanishad

"What cannot be fully expressed by speech, but impelled by which speech is uttered, know this as reality, for this [individuality as presently seen] is not [the full] reality. Reality is that which is near to you as you."

The teacher reiterates the same idea in a different way. Not only can our deepest nature of health not be heard by the ear nor seen by the eye, it also cannot be fully expressed in speech. This is why, all over the world, there are innumerable texts exploring the depths of our nature as health and wholeness. No matter how much one speaks on it, its nature can never be completely encompassed because it is the home from which speech departs.

This individuality that expresses as a capable body, a capable mind, the details of physical anatomy,  and the exquisite movements physiology is not, as it is seen now, our essential nature. It is but an expression of our true nature. The truest nature, health itself, which is inalienable to all of us, is closer to us than anything else.

How far from the ocean does one have to go to reach water? How far from the wind does one have to travel to arrive at air? How far from the modifications that are kilojoules, watts, and calories does one have to journey to arrive at energy? That exact distance is the range to be traveled for each of us to arrive at health–our deepest, truest, inalienable nature.

In other words, that which we are in our eternal nature can never be distant from us. In truth, we cannot even say that it is nearer to us than anything else, because it is not near; it is who and what we are. Health is your nature now. Discover health.
